A friend of mine planted a seed in my head. We were casually shooting the breeze one evening and he said that I needed a business. He was partially joking; but, it got me thinking. If I were to open up my own business (before you freak out, this is just for fun) what type of business would I open? What would I be good at?

My friends and I have joked about opening a dessert shop; but, I wonder, do I need to know how to make wonderfully delicious desserts for that? Don't know how successful that would be...but, that's not the question that I want you to answer!
I will stop rambling now and let you ponder this idea that I hath put before you as I, too, ponder. Haha :)

as i was reading I thought hey, I thought we were going to open our own scott's. so when I got farther down I had to laugh. I think if we all where opening a business we could pull off the dessert thing, but it would need all of us.... joann included. (we need someone that has a clue what she is doing) lol! If you were going to open your own bussiness, it would have to be some kind of education center. that is what you are good at, have a passion for and have always been made for. Although I am not sure how you would make money at that! ok there is my 2 cents...... you knew I would get my opinon in there, I always do! lol!

I think that you should open a midget strip club..... You can make drinks "Half" off, lol,.... tell me who wouldn't pay to see a midget spin around on a pole naked.... Seriously. People like to feel connected and smart when they read, while enjoying themselves. You have a talented way of writing, known in the education world as, "Creative Writing Skills." It would kinda be a mix between, "The Chicken Soup for the Soul" books, with Oprah doing the interviewing and Sandra Bullock playing the main role....in other words; A whole lotta good stuff mixed into one.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Think about it.

ReplyDeleteBut really, whatever it is, follow your passions--something you love to do, so it never really seems like work-- or at least it will be work you can get lost in and can't imagine giving up. Of course, it is nice if it can help you support yourself, if it doesn't, make it a hobby!
